What a nice breath of fresh air. Goes to show that this is possible and preferable. Fuck trump and his gestapo regime.

While its been scientifically proven that it was indeed aliens, I don’t think anyone knows for certain that they weren’t alien slaves.

Yeah i can see that, they travelled to earth with spaceship and other advanced technologies, then we beat them into submission using our pointy sticks and forced them to build shit for us

I kind of feel like you are being sarcastic. Obviously other aliens likely sent down their alien slaves to build these like as transmitters or receivers for communication or possibly marking for future detonation or maybe just to fuck with the locals.

Until one of the aliens had finally had enough, killed a guy, then parted the Red Sea and led a bunch of slaves to freedom.

So… they were free to move elsewhere and use that money for luxuries? They could go get another job?

Because being paid doesn’t mean you’re free. Or is the only type of legitimate slave the typical American kind? It’s not black and white, there’s nuances here. If the black slaves in America were paid, it wouldn’t have been slavery….? Because that’s the logic that’s being used.

It really just sounds like you’re trying to justify not calling people who aren’t free slaves when they still were by every other metric.

It sounds like you don’t know very much about how the pyramids were built, and aren’t interested in learning the truth. The workers who built the Pyramids engaged in some of the first labor actions in recorded history–they went on strike, multiple times, and were successful in securing higher pay and better working conditions. Many of the workers who worked on the tombs of kings were highly respected craftsmen in their own right, who often were given permission to build their own tombs nearby; in many cases, only a little bit less grand than the tombs built for the pharoahs themselves.

The Ancient Egyptians definitely practiced slavery, and also, they didn’t use slaves to build the pyramids. The slaves were doing things like growing food for the people who built the pyramids.

I mean I was wondering what types of people both politicians were anyway, but still.

Mubarak had been dominating the county since the 1980s. The 2011 to 2013 period was a brief period of not-dictatorship

I’m an Egyptian, and 2011-13 was 110% a dictatorship. We’ve always been under one, just different people in different ways

Morsi won office in a popular election, lasted barely two years, and then was couped and imprisoned.

I wouldn’t call that interm period a dictatorship, if for no other reason than it stood in stark contrast to the periods immediately before and after. There was no well-defined national leader. Bureaucrats were still shuffling around and rebuilding a power base, before settling on el-Sisi.

Later that night he sat on the floor, in a onezy in front of his fireplace while his family, glowed in the enjoyment there young president had putting it together, until he fell asleep and his son carried him to bed.

    But seriously love this

Not when it’s a despotic regime.

The elected President was murdered in jail by this stooge’s boss.
