  • So they should, child labour laws should apply to these kids just as any other business. The money earned from these videos need to be paid to the child. Even if it’s in a trust fund where the kid can take it out when they’re old enough and can make better decisions. Like child tv stars they need to only have to work a set amount of hours, no longer.

When I say this I’m talking about toy channels, I’m not talking about the mumfluencer channels. This kind of constant forceful filming of their childrens every moment should be stopped, kids need to have privacy, it’s known to be detrimental to their mental health when they’re constantly documented, and they are also far more likely to get bullied because of it.

I can’t begin to imagine all my bad childhood memories being immortalised thanks to a pushy parent who saw me as a money machines more than a person.

You broke our rules, lmao why are you salty about it posting here? Read the rules before posting, it’s not that hard

It was a really easy request, if you have to make a reactionary meme when you get spoken to by a mod I’d hate to see what you do if you were banned… Which you weren’t, your post was just removed and I asked you to repost it. Pretty easy stuff lol

  • It’s topical, a lot of people are making the same joke right now because it’s currently the relevant topic

I haven’t used twitter since 2020, I find the collapse pretty funny but most of my time thinking goes into learning coding, cats and what I am going to cook for dinner not what the fuck twitter is doing

In about a week’s time unless something else funny happens I don’t honestly give a fuck what they are doing

  • Are you serious? Where did I mention buying things cheap? That’s a funny looking straw man you built from nothing. Literal premium flagship phones like Apple/Samsung have planned obsolescence It isn’t about buying a cheap product when a lot of busineses follow such shitty practices

Why are you blaming the consumer for a problem businesses have created. Planned obsolescence, doesn’t matter how many $$$$ you put into a product. It has a shelf life. Especially with more tech

  • I read the article, people who stand outside abortion clinics disuading people from getting abortions when they’re within the term time is the problem. It’s also possible to have invisible pregnancies. The article doesn’t contain enough to go into but you can’t deny that protesting and harassment outside of abortion clinics would scare people away from doing it legally. Which now it’s made harder.

  • These people care more about an unborn baby than they do about the baby after it’s born. Actually sad.

If every one of these anti-abortion assholes want to start taking the babies of families who cannot raise them then it wouldn’t be seen as just a disgustingly hypocritical movement. That is not the case. If you want to start forcing women to have babies they can’t care for but you don’t want to take care of the consequences of that, you are the problem.

Nobodies out here delivering fully sized aborted babies for shits and giggles. Pregnancies are painful and traumatic enough.

  • Company: You need to have everything ready before the start of your shift.

Me: Do I get paid for coming in early?

    Company: No

Me: Okay, if I’m starting before my shift time then I am going home early to make up for the lost time.

Company: If you leave 1 minute early we have to deduct an hour from your wages

    Me: leaves

Company: nobody wants to work anymore.

Companies have normalised wage theft but call it what it is. It’s theft.

  • Something rather cringe and obnoxious in hindsight was the over use of the word “ocd” It was quite common in media and in my circles for somebody to say “I’m so ocd” when referring to some perfectly normal thing they do like tidying bookcases and organising things.

It’s pretty cringy now and I’d never say it now. I feel bad for saying it… but hey personal growth I guess. I was in school/college at the time too so it was a long time ago. There were a lot of things that were common at school that I used to say that are definitely not pc nowadays and I accept that. I don’t pretend to be a perfect and morally righteous invidual. I have flaws as much as the next person
