As a soldier, don’t we reserve the right to ignore orders that are unconstitutional?

You could get a waver to join at that age. I do think the US Military is a great option for people but it can be hard on a family though. It’s one of the reasons most of my friends did not renew. At 42 your probably have kids and probably have your life mostly fleshed out. The military was great for a lot of my friends and the benefits are good.

This admin I don’t trust why they are moving the goal post

Make it a donut hole. Not eliglbe between the ages of 36 and 66 ^1/2. Drone technology can easily be applied to rollators and walkers.

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/442nd_Infantry_Regiment

The 442nd Infantry Regiment is the most decorate unit in U.S. military history. This is because they were all Americans of Japanese decent during WWII and were sent on suicide missions.

Most of war is getting things fixed or moving to the front line fighting. For every battalion fighting there is another fixing cars, doing laundry, cooking, or getting the paperwork in order for all of those. Doctors are just as important to an army as soldiers. None of those jobs is too much for a 35 year old getting 4 years of service in.

      Ageist nonsense.

Yeah, it should be, but 18-24 y/o’s are much easier to indoctrinate and radicalize, as well as far more reckless in their tolerance for risky activities.
