Op says they’re a 40 year old lesbian nurse.

They might have learnt this a bit late…

In my experience, it’s about behind where the clit is. If you make your thumb and index/middle finger into the shape of a tuning fork, insert the fingers, you can rub both at the same time. Some women enjoy this, though get permission before you try!

Also, don’t stimulate with your finger tip, as it’s very easy to unintentionally involve your finger nail. Use the pad of your finger, and yes, it’ll be a bit less comfortable for you, but way more comfortable for her. If you automatically switch to easier movements when you get tired, keep your nails trimmed and try to keep the contact closer to the pad than the tip (I know that nothing sucks more than getting your partner close but also getting too tired to keep up the movement to finish her, don’t scratch her in that moment).

I bite my nails so no worries about that.

I don’t think I am imagining this correctly?

Or make a duck bill/shadow puppet mouth. Main thing is to make your fingers and thumb parallel and also line up their ends so you can move your hand and rub the outside and inside of the vaginal wall right where the clit is. Tuning fork was the first thing I thought of looking at my own hand in that position lol.

The existence of the G-spot as a distinct structure has not been proven, nor has the source of female ejaculation.[4][5] Although it has been studied since the 1940s,[2] disagreement persists over its definition and location.[4][6][7] The G-spot may be an extension of the clitoris, which may be the actual cause of vaginal orgasms.[7][8][9] Sexologists and other researchers are concerned that women may consider themselves to be dysfunctional if they do not experience G-spot stimulation, and emphasize that not experiencing it is normal.[5]

The lack of study of women’s anatomy is abysmal.

The clitoris wasn’t fully anatomically described until 2005.

A 2024 scoping review of the full body of evidence concluded that the orgasm gap is largely driven by social dynamics rather than biological mechanisms.

        I’m shocked! Shocked, I tell you! /s

Unfortunately there surrounds a whole lot of stigma around studying the female sex of humans. We know more about how one of horses or cows function, because if someone is seeking funding to study the human female sex there is an immediate opinion you’re just a perv.

I read a few interviews about this quite a while ago, I’ll try to find them…

If I remember correctly Sexologist Dr. Lindsey Doe has a story from her time as a student where she was in a lecture where a dude was talking about there being no evidence of a G-Spot, and joking about squirting as a concept being a made up porn gag, and she’s sitting in the auditorium being like “but I experience G-Spot orgasms and squirt, like… often” 😅

Now, to be fair to the field at least a little bit, I understand why maybe she didn’t want to stand up and shout “I routinely hammer my G-Spot and squirt all over the place” in front of her peers, and even in a clinical environment I could imagine it’s not the most orgasm-conducive setting to have a bunch of electrodes and cameras and stuff setup and then to be like “okay, now please show us all what it’s like at home. Anytime. We’re all ready to watch”

I don’t know, but it’s better than most of the doom and gloom news, clickbait and borderline advertisements normally in my feed, so I’ll take it!
