Unpopular opinion: toilets are perfectly shaped to make farts as loud as possible.

I get embarrassed when I’m pooing in a public stall and I fart really loud and then … start giggling. I’m a grown ass man for crying out loud!!!

Silent bathrooms are the fucking worst. When you go in, have to stand right next to some guy at a urinal, and you both can hear exactly how much piss is happening, or when it’s not happening. Nothing shrivels up my bladders ability to expend faster than complete silence and the attention of a stranger.

Also once I was visiting a foreign country and found a girl on tinder, we were fuck buddies for the duration. She stayed over one night, and I had to shit in the morning. With her sitting on the bed quietly scrolling her phone like 5 feet away. It was awful. Felt like I couldn’t fart, could barely get anything out, my diet had been bad so it was going to be a difficult poo anyway. It was awful.

But out in public, whenever I accidentally fart, or on purpose fart but I intended it to be silent, I just laugh immediately afterwards. If I think it’s funny, then it’s not awkward.

People need to stop being weird about toilets. WE ALL KNOW WHAT GOES ON IN THERE.

      I don’t need a rest…, I don’t want to take a bath…I don’t need to wash…

If I hear someone on the phone in a public restroom I try to rip ass as loud as possible.

I’m not stuck in here with you, you’re stuck in here with me.

Yup. Bringing normal sounds into the bathroom is just as bad as bringing bathroom sounds into a normal room

I have IBS so if I want to go anywhere I have to deal with the fact that I may end up making lots of noise in a public toilet. In my forties I’m pretty desensitized about it now. Everybody poops.

I used to clench up in public bathrooms if there was anyone else in the bathroom.

Now I just let 'er rip. Even if I know it’s gonna be loud and funky.

I only shit at home or in the woods. I hate walking into a public restroom and knowing a microscopic piece of another mans colon is now in my nose.

If anyone out there is self conscious about this, remember: you should only be embarrassed by sounds that come out of your mouth when in the bathroom. If you’re grunting and sighing in the stall you need immediate medical attention or a gag. Pull it together

Yes. We must be ashamed of our filth and all things we do without wearing pants and cower from the glare of God lest he drown us like all the others.

I feel like no longer caring if strangers can hear you poop is a big part of growing up. Not to say I’ve reached that point.
