Never mind that the filibuster doesn’t even have to be 40%. One guy is all it takes to make use of the filibuster as long as he’s got the stamina for it. That 60/40 is just because senators are inherently lazy and don’t want to do the extra work.

They certainly should because filibusters are inherently undemocratic, but they never have before and I don’t seem doing it now or anytime soon.
