One of my nephews is this. Cooks something but in the process used a lot of pots and pans and utensils, and didn’t bother washing up afterwards.

reminds me a pic i took at now former job 15 years ago
I worked in such a place once. The dishwasher was always running at max capacity, but it wasn’t fast enough for the manager who kept yelling at me. No one but me stayed in the dishwasher position for more than three days. Eventually they brought in an old “specialist” dish washer from years back, and he showed me the “right” way to do it.
This guy seriously loaded the dish rack onto the conveyor, then sprayed the dishes with a hose while forcefully dragging the rack through the dishwasher in five seconds instead of the standard minute. The dishes weren’t even close to clean, it was disgusting.
They were under new management a couple of months later.
I was told not to complain about dirty dishes at a part time job once, because they couldn’t get anyone to wash dishes otherwise. The guy complained when I put steam pans with caked garbage inside back on the dish line.
Me walking in my kitchen after my wife is done cooking.
She is incapable of doing the “clean as you go” method. If I try to help with that she gets pissed at me for washing something she wasn’t done using yet.
Never use 1 pan when 5 pans will do
This is why I treasure one-pot recipes.
This is why I treasure my wok.

Flashbacks of my childhood. My folks owned restaurants and they had no one working the dish machine for lunch. I would come in right from school this and a list of prep work.
I would catch up right around the dinner rush to do it all over again times 3… Needless to say my childhood and teens was my head in a giant sink scrubbing.
Oof this hits home. I grew up on a ranch and always kinda resented having to work my whole childhood while other kids got to screw around but… being in a dish pit every day… I think I feel better now. Stay strong fellow child laborer💪
I was a dishy in my youth as well. The trick is to organize the pile, and spray it down to loosen the gunk.
I refuse to make anything with over 6 ingredients.
That’s about how my kitchen looks right now. And I just made something quick and simple.
I tried that one. 30minutes my ass.
