Never tell a man to move the TV away from the wall, it doesn’t work that way.
I have an 82 inch TV that is wall mounted.
My girlfriend can’t lift one side of it so if I ever need to take it off the wall I gotta get a friend to come over to help.
I’ll come help. You lift and I’ll tickle you
I’ve learned that those thick black washers come in handy when you’re assembling the mount. It adds a meaningful amount of clearance when installing/hanging a TV. I’m uncertain if all mounts come with them but they should.
I came close to buying an extendable bracket just for this reason, but I had such a hard time getting the TV lifted up onto the flat bracket I figured out a way using two sticks and some tape to get it plugged in.
This is why everything goes into the receiver and only one cable goes to the tv
Buy an aliexpress endoscope camera.
I just google the tv model number and find an image of the inputs, then I go by feel.
Whoever comes out with the first affordable robot that can do this will make bank.
Build your mount to move away from the wall.
They make 90° adapters for them
That doesn’t help getting your hands to where the hdmi port is.
I know. But it does prevent over bending of the cable . i had the same problem a couple years ago and dismounted the monitor installed the adapter and cable then remounted the monitor. Failing all that you could swap out a standard vesa mount for an articulated one that allows swinging the monitor away from the wall enough
Plug in the cables before mounting the TV
Sometimes you plug a new device into the TV that you got after you mounted a TV.
Use the cable that was installed before the TV was mounted.
You mean the one that is already in use?
