    Corn dogs are cylindrical sandwiches

    Chicken balls are spherical sandwiches.

Scotch eggs are spherical burgers, which are a subset of sandwiches.

Corn dogs and chicken balls are calzones.

Scotch Eggs are salad Calzone, because they’re are not just an egg covered in meat.

I didn’t make the cube rule of food classification, I just enforce it blindly and with great fervor.

Okay but how is pumpkin pie toast and not a quiche?

It has support on all sides and bottom.

Edit: I guess it’s a slice of pie?

Apologies, It’s obviously Calzone when whole.

For some reason I forgot scotch eggs had breading on the outside.

Some mathematicians hypothesize that n-dimensional-hyper-sandwiches may be possible, but such constructs remain unproven.

A spherical sandwich would just be a 3-ball of air surrounded by a 2-sphere with the following layers: bread (inner), contents (middle), bread (outer). You could also have a 3-sphere sandwich – homeomorphic to a calzone which has a little 3-ball of bread in its center.
