At least trees take an appropriate amount of time to get tall! Freaking sunflowers do it in a year! You know how tall I was when I was 1!?

The Hollyhock in my backyard is eleven foot seven inches (three point three five metres).
Take that, some percentage of the populations of sunflowers.
