Honestly I think it depends how locked into the story you are? Like if you’re waking up during one of the prologues, esp nomad/streetkid, I’d imagine you can just walk away from the story and live a “normal” life. But is Keanu already in your head trying to take over? Or do you just wake up at Ch1 with Jackie trying to get you killed and a bit of a chance?

It was my birthday yesterday and one of the two devs of hotline miami and his brother took me out to the bars, many hours and beers in we talked about how fucked we’d be if we got transported to that universe. And now this thread pops up with your comment and remember that discussion which I had forgotten in the mist of the night till now.Damn, what a crazy coincidence. Also that’s pretty awesome that you know one of the devs, and happy birthday too!
TY!! I didn’t even know the devs were from my country and live in my city until we met. We met at an underground club, me and my best friend (RIP) were talking about the game and this random dude came up to us, extremely drunk, and said he made the game and we didn’t belive him at all right then. It was only a few weeks later when we came across each other at a bar early on in the night when he showed us that he wasn’t bullshiting, haha. This was was all only a few weeks after the first game came out. He’s a great dude!
