I believe it’s Blackletter - edit: which is a family of Gothic fonts. The variant shown is Fraktur.
What’s interesting is the Nazi regime first heavily used Gothic scripts, particularly Fraktur, claiming these scripts were an element of Aryan heritage, but later banned Fraktur in 1941, claiming it was ‘Judenlettern’ (Jew letters). This was of course utter shite and is now understood to primarily be a pretense to switch to more easily read, modern fonts.
