Great news to see Republicans thinking about anyone besides Trump running for an illegal 3rd term.

And who do you think will be vice president for Vance to step down for?

He’d still be elected in a way that could be contested, whereas the speaker of the house doesn’t have to be a member of congress. So the method we expect is Vance/Some Asshole and then they both resign after swearing in, making Trump president again. Although this looks less and less likely as Republicans splinter.

Can you explain? I thought the amendment thing said he just can’t be elected president. Or does it say he can’t be elected vice president too?

if you are ineligible to be president you cannot be “in line” to be president such as a vp.

Why wouldn’t he be eligible? The wording of your amendment specifically says “shall not be elected” clearly that means that becoming president by other means is fine, otherwise it would have said “may not serve as president” or just may not be president.

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

because one, if elected as vp, and needing to become p is, by some odd logic considered “elected.”

                it’s why voting is important.

But it doesn’t say he can’t be elected as vice president, only he can’t be elected president. By being elected as VP he’s not being elected president.

You’ve just said it can’t happen, not explained what would actually stop it happening.

You say that as if it’s unlikely, a lot of these bigger front end conservative orgs are basically held up by a handful of major figures. Also they tend to be shit when it comes to finances see the Daily Wire and all their failed attempts at basically anything that isn’t a talk show. TPUSA is replaceable just like the rest, they’ll collapse and some other shitstain organization will fill its place sooner or later.

There is no way, if he became president, that JD would resign for anyone. He is worshipping Trumo because he likes him, but for the power. If he already had the power, DJT would be sidelined tout suite.
