But imagine a statue of Charlie Kirk, placed prominently on the National Mall, with an inspirational quote like:

God himself could have descended from heaven, after spontaneously deciding to give a shit about humanity, and touched Kirk’s forehead endowing him with all knowledge in the universe, and after Kirk’s tiny mind finished exploding, his hateful racist mouth would still manage to sputter out “yeah but DEI is unfair to Rich White Men!”

I couldn’t help but think the exact timing was a reaction to how shitty what he was saying was. Like they lost their cool and pulled the trigger because they couldn’t stand his bile for another moment.
They probably didn’t even plan to shoot him but just couldn’t stand the bullshit any more.
I seriously thought the shooter was in the crowd because of that. It seemed just soooo on the nose. Someone even says “Good” just before the shot, I thought it was the shooter thinking this was going to make the perfect clip.

I’d like to take this opportunity to point out that I am NOT celebrating CK’s death and to make sure you all understand this story is really about me and how I claimed the moral high ground before anyone else even thought of doing it.
