    Aren’t the anti-vaxxers in charge?

Y’all I think these anti-science terrorists might not be as smart as they look. And that’s saying something.

Was the shooter white or other? I just want to know how much effort will put into the consequences.

According to a local news station in Atlanta, they identified the shooter as a white male.

So, minimal effort. There will be some mild condemnation from local officials because he killed a cop (a black cop, though), but I’m sure he’ll be remembered as an honorable but misguided patriot, particularly now that he’s dead. This will also probably be used as a way to start cutting back at the CDC even more, as it has now become a topic of greater public concern.

No no, they’re saving lives by killing the scary scientists that are secretly injecting nanobots into our children that brainwash them into being woke!

Stochastic terrorism is a form of political violence instigated by hostile public rhetoric directed at a group or an individual. Unlike incitement to terrorism, stochastic terrorism is accomplished with indirect, vague or coded language, which grants the instigator plausible deniability for any associated violence.

A key element of stochastic terrorism is the use of media for propagation, where the person carrying out the violence may not have direct connection to any other users of violent rhetoric.

I have an antivax coworker who is also virulently anti-immigrant. Her main reason for being anti-immigrant is that she thinks immigrants are unvaccinated and bring diseases into this country. When she told me this I was too busy looking for my jaw on the ground to try and argue with her. She is exactly as unpleasant and ugly as you would imagine.

That’s smart. The probability any given antivaxxer might end up shooting you is still low, but I’d wager it’s several orders of magnitude higher than if you disagreed with any other type of person on a similar subject.

I try to get in real good with the antivaxxers in my life, just in case. Like the people who thank AI.

How do you know? You never been to Texas and Florida where many antovaxxers also carry guns? They are short fused and they hate to be corrected.

When you see a crazy person walking down the street, you just want to stay away from them

odds are formed after knowledge is had - tell me the last time you saw news of an antivax murder spree? Compare that to how often we hear of cops murdering during “no knock” raids. or traffic stops. or protests. or because they confused pistol and taser… etc.
