Actually it was Daylight Saving Time on November 1 back in 2009 (17 years ago). It was a great night.

There is some weird loophole in Baltimore that allowed bars to stay open all night on new years eve, and the first year I lived there I didn’t know about it. Was very confused when I left the bar and the sun was coming up.

I don’t understand. Every Halloween there is a weekend before or after (well almost) where we in the US get another hour to drink at a bar. I did it for 15 years straight. And that was 15 years ago.

I don’t know how to lay it out any plainer than that.

It’s a holiday where people are going out to party in a club where they, when they think the night is over because the club is closing at 2am instead, get told they have an additional hour to party because the clocks got rolled back 1 hr for Daylight Savings.

Sometimes, I feel like I’m talking to aliens.
