I’m not buying socks anymore. Even for charity. In fact I’m on my phone right now looking for ideas to use on the next pair I make.
I just discovered Alec recently and I hadn’t realised he’s more famous than I initially thought!
I was drinking with two buddies and the subject of Christmas lights came up from buddy 2. Buddy 1 and I both went right into the engineering aspects new vs old ones and discovered we were both watching the same stuff.
I don’t understand people who don’t love his channel. How can you not be fascinated by how we turn burning coal or nuclear fission into cold air?
My roommate once got home as I was watching a Technology Connections video on the living room TV, and after listening to the dude explain the detailed mechanics of some common home appliance for 5 minutes, they finally uttered “what the hell are you watching?” But as we sat there for another 15-20 minutes longer, they eventually said “okay I get it now, this is pretty interesting.”
I missed the second “don’t” and was about to call in an airstrike.
Would that airstrike be hyper efficient?
Yes! Might as well take some free energy by converting the free energy into me energy.
