It’s going to be another tough year funneling taxpayer money to billionaires and corporations. Midterm elections are the best most peaceful route to making 2027 a better year. In the meantime tighten your belt and hunker down.

Yeah, I think a lot of people want to speedrun this happening without realizing that in reality it’s just gonna lead to a lot more crime and a lot lower quality of life.

The glorious revolution that results in a brand new glorious era for America is not that likely to happen in this scenario. Most revolutions don’t really turn out that great, if you ever even get to the revolution phase as everyone is just robbing and killing each other out of desperation.

The question is: how broken will their spirit be by the time that happens?

Will they just lay down in fear and exhaustion rather than rising up against the people and system that abused them for so long?

It’s incredible how Democrat sentiment is so bad in the face of this. Millions poured into consultants, and they can’t figure it out?

Their vocabulary should be two words:

    • Epstein.

    • Trumpcare.

    That’s it.

That’s all they need to say to win.

If they’re feeling frisky, sprinkle in a “huh, you know, maybe a few near-trillionaire buddies of the president shouldn’t rob you with AI?”

They were literally handed a actual pedo cabal and a direct existential crisis even hardcore Republicans are feeling anxiety over, on a silver platter. And somehow they’re messing that up?

I’m dysfunctional as hell, and even I couldn’t mess that up.

So glad we ended the shutdown and got nothing out of it because democrats were promised a vote on this that they knew they wouldn’t win on.

If Null, PugJesus, and Rheori are going to mass downvote my account because they got butthurt for breaking rules and not getting away with it, they could be a bit more subtle about it.

Oh well, I guess I don’t support the Gaza genocide like Goat does so I guess I’m a tankie now.

Edit: Hey null. How’s it feel to be aligned with someone who’s pro-genocide?

Edit 2: $50 dollars to Lemmy with From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free with Goat’s name.

Pedo traitor party doing what they always do. Which is everything they can to harm average Americans.

Gonna be a lot more Americans that hate America going forward. Let’s see how that turns out.

Hey y’all. Stop voting for fucking conservatives or doing things that allow conservatives to have control, like not voting or voting for 3rd party candidates that literally cannot win because they are members of non-viable parties that haven’t done anything to make themselves viable.

That’s all well and good because at least Musk is on his way to becoming a trillionaire!

Real talk, why the fuck hasn’t there been a West Wing-esque or some sort of satirical tv series that literally just showcases exactly what has been going on for the past 2 decades? Sure there was House of Cards and what not, but I’m talking a literal 1-to-1 copy of all the shit Trump and Republicans have done for 20 years?

That would be more valuable than all the fucking ads and text messages we receive from the DNC, combined.

The 2nd Amendment is more important than health care. The dumbfucks who voted for this would buy ammunition over insulin shots.

Propaganda is a hell of a drug.

If I were you, I’d take a hard look at rising right wing extremism across the EU, and spread the word. Before it happens to you, too.

“rising” not winning. So far the right wings havent had a lot of success in Europe, even though now both russia and USA are trying yo manipulate our People to vote for their crazy agenda. What usa has become, is a scary example of how the right wing will fuck up your country once it goes there way. We can only Hope we are better than this. I see a stronger, more unified EU now, than before trump got voted in for the second time. I only see the right has most of their success with the boomer generation and in eastern european countries, which apparently has a more laissez faire relationship with russia in the first place. But we will see. We are undoubtly not allies with usa Anymore, so we have to create our own future with what we got now.

          That’s what I’m saying!

It may be fun to make fun of the US, and justified. But I think it’s a distraction from what’s happening in your own back yard.

          Don’t be us. Please.

If the US learned anything of Europe they wouldn’t be in this mess… Europeans are already very aware of it. edit: you are warning us about what we’ve already been through and we warned YOU about. the ignorance and arrogance of you people are staggering.

Well, that is how democracy works, the majority of boomer voters, gets to choose which direction your country chooses to go for. I really don’t care about “fake news” a corrupt voting system, manipulative social media etc. We are all trying to get fucked by russian and american interests when we go to vote, in all western society, so this is no excuse. You decided to turn your back on the western world, now deal with it.

the grass roots culture across the us is “stay off my property or I will shoot you”. so what’ya expect? the largest cultural influences we have are pioneer culture and capitalism. it isn’t a mature society by any measure, it is the pinnacle of what you get from colonialism.
