It’s remarkable how quickly the pages that publish things like this or the 60 Minutes CECOT segment disappear. Putting it on the fediverse will hopefully protect it from being suppressed. Torrents are important too.

Most of my coworkers have not even heard about it. Even less looked for it. It may be everywhere on lemmy but lemmy is very little known in the real world.

It’s on Reddit and other places too. Your coworkers haven’t heard of it yet because it dropped in the middle of the night. Stop expecting everyone else to be as terminally online as yourself.

My guess is a ‘turncoat’ in the DoJ ‘accidentally’ let this one, and other similar ones, slip through. Or they’re all just fucking incompetent. Take your pick.

Does “short route” home here mean suicide or blackmail? God this shit never clarifies anything but it definitely incriminates Trump.

The use of the word “home” throws me off. If he said “out” I’d figure it was suicide but home is like “does epstein believe in some kind of afterlife?” Idk its weird. I almost wonder if there was a scheme to bust him out of prison but it turned into murdering him.

He’s speaking in metaphor, which he seems to like doing often because, like his dumb pedophile cohort, he thinks he’s the Riddler or something.

He doesn’t need to actually believe in an afterlife to reference one.

It looks like the back of a postcard. Maybe the prison only allows postcards so they can read everyone’s mail? Seems like the kind of thing US prisons might do.

On closer inspection the line down the middle is a bit wobbly and there are faint outlines around the pages. I think someone just scanned the envelope and pages and assembled them in the wrong order.

As much as they have done horrendous shit, I don’t believe for one second that this letter is real / authored by said monster. No one will spend their last words focusing one some narcissistic fuckwit. Especially not another narcissist / psychopath.

I will never understand how people could be this rich and do stupid shit like this.

With all that money, you could go find the love of your life, travel the world with them, pay for all the mental and healthcare you need, be fit and live the rest of your life happily with your soulmate AND still even have the capacity to help others if you so desire.

But instead they do this shit. I hate reality.

You can become a multi-millionaire through honest hard work and responsibility. There are plenty of multi-millionaires who live the lifestyle you describe.

You can’t really become a billionaire that way. You become a billionaire by being a greedy, manipulative narcissist, obsessed with wealth and power. That’s who you see doing this shit.

The people with all that money are the people so narrowly obsessed with money and/or the power money brings that they have dedicated their whole lives to taking it from others. Effectively that means only sociopaths who enjoy abusing others become that wealthy. People with more meaningful purpose in their lives, or who genuinely care for others, don’t become billionaires.

This article implies he was writing incriminating letters from jail, prior to choosing to kill himself. And there’s never a hint of self-awareness at the atrocious pain and harm he caused, just a constant entitlement to all women.

Assuming it’s genuine, it also shows he considered himself a victim of unfair treatment right to the end. Unless it’s also a hint that the suicide was not of his own choosing, but that’s getting pretty speculative.

Yeah theres already a lot of speculation and assumptions; I really don’t want to add to the scuttlebutt, but those were my first thoughts on reading the letter and figuring out when it was sent and where from. Let’s not mimic the QAnon approach though.

So far while poking around in certain places just to see what other reactions are floating around out there are, I’ve seen:

    “Who created this AI slop?”

“Written by someone from MSM for clicks.”

“Why didn’t Biden release this, clearly fake.”

“This is worse than the fake birthday card.”

“Clearly not related to Trump, but instead Clinton.”

Intense cope is how I see it. Could it be fake? Maybe. I try to draw upon the things that have been said in the past, actions clearly on record/tape, literal confessions that are public from years ago, real-time goal post moving, and delection attempts.

Innocent people don’t usually jump through so many hoops.

They constantly repeat shit without really understanding it, a lot like parrots. They obviously don’t know how to actually identify AI slop.

I heard this more than a few times over a year ago. Sure, it’s getting better, but there will always be limitations and weak points, even if they require more effort to detect.
