Let’s say, for the sake of argument, being gay is a sin. Isn’t one of Jesus’ more well known lessons “let he who has never sinned throw the first stone” or something like that? Like his main thing is forgiving people and providing unconditional love. I’d say focusing on someone’s perceived sin is straight up non-Christian
The whole “hate the sin, not the sinner” is such patronizing bullshit meant to make Christians feel better about themselves for hating people based on immutable characteristics that they’re born with.
