Dare I ask what a “goatish odor” smells like, other than, well, a goat?
If you eat goat meat and find it tastes weird. That weird taste is kind of like the smell. Similar to mutton (and sheep.) It is mostly intact males that smell strongly.
I never ate goat tbh.
goat is the goat! so juicy and tender. it’s like the best pork and dark meat chicken you’ve ever had.
It varies from like “like straw animal bed after weeks of use” to “almost exactly like burning sulfur”, passing through “like burnt black powder”.
It’s absolutely rich in hydrogen sulfide, but I have no idea what causes that diversity.
