you can’t steal a meme. Thats what makes it a meme. It goes around as a culutural phenomenon, being riffed on and referenced and turning into a meta thing and then dying.
Whatever helps you sleep at night
Stealing memes is as plausible as stealing words
A meme’s whole purpose is to propagate.
Instead of just taking whatever someone else posted, I spend about 20 seconds to a minute on average to find a better copy using reverse image search or just find the original post. Sometimes it’s a tweet and I just take a new screenshot. Comics are generally really easy to find the original.
Am I doing it right?
Is that Pink Panther’s cousin, Nicotine Puma?
Tarfingered Cougar. Otherwise known as your mom
You sure you want to use the word “pump” around a guy who would most-likely just reply “I’ll pump your mom”?
You’re godamn right.
It’s the way I like it
Even this meme was stolen.
Ideas improve. The meaning of words participates in the improvement. Plagiarism is necessary. Progress implies it. It embraces an author’s phrase, makes use of his expressions, erases a false idea, and replaces it with the right idea.

Jazz culture has entered the chat.
I prefer to call it appropriation.
CulturalMemetic appropriation
when the meme I stole from Instagram was so good it gets stolen and reposted to the same sub a week later
And the Instagrammer stole it from reddit
