I am completely friendless. I don’t even gave Internet friends. I dont have a family to spend it with either. I had a dog that was my everything. But she got old and died as we all do.

Get a new dog, it’ll be starting over, but just get a new dog not the same as the last one because that’ll make you feel sad, better to have one than to not. (My parent would know.)

Even though for me this is just a cultural holiday I wouldn’t want to be alone on Christmas Day. This sounds so phony but if I was you I would check out local churches that have special Christmas dinners for poor or homeless folks. It would give you something to do. You wouldn’t be alone. And you would feel grateful about your state in life compared to many others. Also - sorry about your dog. I’ve been through it several times and it was more crushing than the death of any human for me.

Sorry you’re going through that bud. To us that have few or no friends, the holidays can be a very depressing time of the year. But, in time, if you put in the effort, you can make friends or at the very least, make the most of what you have.

Hopefully this doesn’t sound too conceited, but I truly hope you find happiness my friend.

This year, a lot of baby pets are going to be Christmas presents. A lot of them will be returned.

Make a difference. Get yourself some senior cats and dogs and give them the happy Christmas they deserve. Only If you can afford it.

I left abusive family and live in my car in the middle of the desert. I’m happy as can be, I’m FREE! There’s usually a good side to the bad stuff, hope you have a wonderful holidays and find ways to cheer yourself up. Life can be amazing and sometimes the negatives are in our heads.

Same here. But it’s also the first year I didn’t get left behind out of convenience.

Tomorrow will be just another day for me, like all holidays are anymore. But at least I didn’t have to spend money and stress about making ungrateful people happy.

I’ll be doing what I do every day. Enjoy myself and pamper the kittyat day, play with online friends and pamper the kitty at night.

Having a companion animal helps. Sorry for the loss of your dog. Is it too soon to bring in another companion?
