Apparently “utopian communities” are actually intentional communities following a utopian model and they don’t like to be referred to as “utopian communities” because it’s considered prejorative.

Now people will rely on social cred. Indie authors would have to rely on social media and blogging to come accross as attractive enough for their written works to be interesting. Same with any other indie-related fields, really.

Does anyone else think that NFTs are an allegory/miniature version of how art is easily commodified by capitalism? IIRC, NFTs were there to help finance artists who work on a purely digital medium, but then grifters coopted the NFT space and try to sell sets of same-looking artwork. Complete with “fandoms” and drama, as well.

As for AI voices, it doesn’t quite match real life voices yet. I think what’s more feasible is to get an above average actor with a decent budget, then mask the voice with programs like RVC.

Information and Technology lol. You’d think I’d take a major in computer science, right? But I actually despised math so I went to art school instead. Though I must say I feel like I didn’t like math because I suspect that I have what is basically mild dyscalculia (undiagnosed), for lack of a better term, and I’m learning some coping skills.

Given how Japan seems to embrace AI and robots more than any other nation, it makes me wonder if Japan may inevitably have a significant portion of the population comprised of robots.

Tried that but none of the gestures include “go back” nor “swipe right” (the closest thing is “scroll right”). Even used a custom gesture as well and that didn’t work.

I find that to be a good option. Unfortunately, given my current needs, the Apple Watch is the best device to meet them, so I’m stuck with the iPhone. And yes, I’ve researched the Galaxy Watch, too, but app integration and health measurements are considered lackluster compared to the AW.

As someone with tiny hands and tiny fingers, I’ve been thinking long and hard about this and in the future, when my 13 mini lets out its last breath, I’ll probably just go with a regular-sized iPhone and use Voice Control to swipe right and “go back” when I use it one-handed, since reachability doesn’t address how I struggle to reach the far end of the screen with one-hand (I even have to struggle a bit with the mini). Sucks that I’ll have to use voice control as a workaround, but I mostly bought an iPhone for the Apple Watch anyway.
