Yes! Absolutely this.
“Stuff in it that we don’t trust.”
Better to be dead than injected with chemicals that might make you autistic? Gay? A liberal? What could possibly be in the vaccines that would be worse than your child no longer existing?
As a parent, I am so angry. How can you look at your child and be more afraid of the lesser outcomes (not that they even exist, but still) and choose death? What a failure of the parents. And shame on every single person in the media that let this bullshit spiral out of control. That poor girl.
Italy and mechanical engineering. I know that Italy has its own issues with young people leaving for better opportunities elsewhere. But every single place I have worked or vacationed in Italy has been more interesting and usually beautiful compared to where I am now.
Also, mechanical engineering just seems like there are lots of career paths to choose from. With some networking and determination, I think it could be a cool combination. Civil engineering or mine engineering would be cool in Italy too, can you imagine working at one of those marble quarries in Tuscany?
Foam mattress promising to be extra firm. It arrived in a convenient little roll, but 6 months later, it is absolute shit. Fell for the marketing and now my back is paying for it.
I didn’t think it was possible to find a more irritating person to listen to than Trump. But this idiot proved me wrong. What a sniveling little evil henchman.
This is just so painful to watch. Embarassing does not even begin to describe it.
Fucking what?
These geniuses are so far up their own assholes that they fully believe their own delusions of grandeur. And the view from way up between those cheeks makes it difficult to see any context. So they just trust one anothers bullshit assertions.
The actions of a man who loves his country and not power? Politicians in the US (on both sides) could never comprehend this.
It’s interesting to see the hate for this pope from both sides. I’ve seen many comments from the atheist perspective, rightfully calling out his protection of child molestors and rapists. And at the same time, read comments from “religious” people excited for his death because he dared to be liberal on a few points.
Damned if you don’t, damned if you do. I guess. /s
Almost like a singular figurehead interpreting ancient texts for application in the modern world doesn’t work.
I wish that would affect them. Even just to pause and reflect. They won’t. It hasn’t been about the teachings of Christ for a long time.
Great, let’s just leave it all up to Elon. What could possibly go wrong?
The only thing worse than 2 billionaires leading an unregulated government entity is a single billionaire leading it. Giving Elon completely unchecked power.
Responding because I am also curious about this.
Elon bought Trump, so this isn’t surprising.
Also, it’s clear that Trump just regurgitates whatever slop Elon says because he thinks it will make him look smart.
Honorable mention for my favorite moment in a TV show - Brienne of Tarth a Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. What a shining, glorious moment of satisfaction for a hardworking and truly good character in a season of utter bullshit.
I will always feel that we were robbed of so many satisfying conclusions because of the show rushing to wrap everything up. Not everything had to be tied in a perfect bow, but what we got certainly did not scratch that perfectly placed itch.
This and the alternate mobile home episode where Jeremy drives a 3 story tall structure always make me laugh so hard I could cry.
Amazing how an episode about a regular human bartender raising money for his local volleyball team can be so hilarious and perfect.
Exactly this! We did not understand how our house operated as a system until we experienced it in both the freezing cold and humid summer. Most modern homes were designed to circulate air efficiently, but with a 250 year old home, things work differently.
For example, the wood burning stove was put in that place for a reason, and although it might complicate the couch/tv placement, the benefits of a properly placed heat source outweigh the feng shui of the room.
Even if they do get rid of him, won’t he be a vulnerability for years to come? Because of the position he was given, certainly not earned, he is privy to not only the details of current military strikes but also secret goals for future military projects. Right? I assume most people who have these jobs have a modicum of self-respect and patriotic duty. But couldn’t he just leak that important info to anyone even after he is fired?
