Once you realize the average American voter is stupid af, doesn’t understand basic civics, doesn’t understand basic macro economics, doesn’t understand the President doesn’t control gas prices, and the list goes on and on. It’s less likely Trump and Co stole anything (there’s no evidence of there of it) and more likely the blame is on ignorant or blinded or willingly fascists voters to bring about “change” on their feelings and vibes. Plus the Dems ran a pretty shitty campaign. Caucusing with Liz fucking Cheney? Jfc what an L that was.

This has been going on for years now. I feel bad for those that suffer there because of this, but if you choose to willingly live there when you have the means to leave, I don’t feel sorry for you anymore. You can always end up somewhere, even if you fall ass backwards into it. While I understand what RSS is, what I fail to understand is how people find it useful. I never understood using RSS to see 2 lines of a headline article that I’m going to go to the website for anyways. So it just never fit my workflow. Hopefully that makes it make a bit more sense.

I just couldn’t get into RSS feeds back when it was growing in its popularity. No chance I’ll understand using it any better now lol. I am a fool of a took.

I just took a casual look at that sub and noped the fuck out. Sad to see how active a toxic community like that is, though not really surprising.

is it just me or is a lot of what a see are Linux/tech users mostly on lemmy, perhaps that could be why some niche communities haven’t blossomed here yet. I’m really big into metalcore music, but so far, there really isn’t the same type of community that rivals the Reddit metalcore version.
