When I was in middle school I began to have terrible GERD related symptoms and none of the doctors I saw back then ever gave me medicine to deal with it or the anxiety I was getting from it.

It was so bad that even raising my heart rate would sometimes cause my stomach to pulsate in pain. My anxiety made it worse and I would sometimes get excused from gym class because I didn’t want to spend the rest of the day in agony.

My gym teacher took this personally and gave me shit the whole time. He wouldn’t lose a chance to get back at me the whole year. Once I came into gym class with him yelling at me in front of the whole class for putting my clothing in the wrong locker & then getting pissed since he had to break my lock to get my stuff out of there. I knew for a fact it was my locker as he was the one who showed me it at the beginning of the year.

I once had to miss school because I was at the doctor’s getting what I think was an X ray scan of my stomach. My gym coach was so pissed I wasn’t there that he started giving a whole speech to our class about “What the measures of a good man are” and kept giving me as context to them as what wasn’t a good man.

Then there was when I had to quickly leave his class one day because I had to go to the bathroom from GERD related shit again. This got him so mad that he forced me to stay after class so that I had to run a mile by myself as he yelled at how bad I was doing when I started throwing up.

I fucking hated that guy. I was dealing with so much misery by just trying to get through the days back then and had to deal with that antagonist prick who hated me when I was 12.

I wonder how many of those 46% were like me at my old apartment.

They included cable tv in the monthly rent so I technically was a household that subscribed but I never once connected my tv to it lol.

I just finally started watching Gundam and damn do they love putting those kids in mechas. Zeta seems to follow the trend and I guess the other series do too lol.

My sister taught at a pre-k after school thing for a few years. They eventually got a 6 year old girl in her class. The girl began to talk about things her dad would do and stuff that no 6 year old should ever know. I won’t go into detail but it was enough for my sister and any other adult to be sickened and horrified. She would also start acting sexual to any male adult at the school that she got to know.

My sister called CPS and told them they HAD to bring a lady over as the 6 year old locks down around male adults.

The fucking CPS brought a guy over and of course the little girl refused to talk. The dad found out when he picked her up that day and then vanished with their kid. Nobody heard from them again.

That was around 12 years ago so that child is now an adult and I still think about how her last 12 years could have been different if CPS did that one small thing.

CPS is a joke when you actually need them.

That title hides the worst part.

The cops arrested him and then said social services was coming to take his son who was with him at the time. Then the cop was told the charges wouldn’t stick and still did it.

My hatred for CenturyLink is only 2nd to what Suddenlink put my family through. It took an FCC complaint against Suddenlink for them to come fix our phone lines/Internet/security system that were all down for a full month before they actually came to fix it. They had to actually reply to the FCC complaint within 10 days.

I only made that complaint after a Suddenlink worker said that there wasn’t an outage like we had thought for the last 3 weeks. They then said the automated message that stated “your location has an outage” was fake and just what they were using to stop people from calling.

We worked from home and had to rely on mobile hotspots. Was all during covid so it was even harder for going out to have a safe place to work.

Oh wow I gotta catch up to the current seasons. That was one of the best scenes I’ve seen from the show yet.

Still 4 seasons behind lol. Only just got to the pool AIDS episode.

That was one of my first Xbox 360 games as a kid. Good memories of playing it online and loving how the movement and abilities are.

Had a similar thing happen to me and my family on a United flight two years ago.

First after closing procedure were being done, the workers at the gate let a person through and they opened the plane door for them. The flight attendant was so pissed as now they had to redo every step from the beginning.

THEN we got told there was a broken part of the plane and we had to wait to see if they could get it fixed. After an hour waiting we got told we could go back to the airport to buy stuff or go to the bathroom.

When everyone got back, they started the pre-flight stuff again until a person walked up and said they walked onto the wrong plane. My flight attended just looked in shock and let them leave. Then tried to hid his frustration when announcing that anyone else who thinks they are in the wrong plane should speak now.

Another hour and then we got told it got fixed. The flight then began 4 hours late on a trip that was originally only going to be 4 hours.

The one I kept hearing during HS was the serial masturbator who looked like Harry Potter.

Basically there was one kid who would constantly start jacking off during classes. Wouldn’t stop when told to stop.

Was three grades below me so I was luckily never in the classes where it happened. So many people I know weren’t as lucky and saw it.

I got no idea why the school allowed the kid to still be on the campus.

School turned into an early college one after I started, so those kids were dealing with enough already to then deal with constantly seeing a kid jackoff in college level classes.

When I was in college I lived in a off campus student housing area and they had the the most passive aggressive wifi names.

It wasn’t just one wifi. It was like three SSID’s all arguing to each other. They began responding to each other by changing their names also lol.

Lol the last time I flew was a shit show. Here’s a recap.

As the flight attendant is giving us the safety instructions and about to lock the door, a lady opens the airplane door even though the path should have been closed down. The attendant was pissed since they all had to restart the pre flight stuff from the beginning.

When they finished it all a second time we got told that a part of the plane was broken and they were working on it. An hour later they said they were opening the door and letting us walk around the airport to get food or go to the bathroom for the next 25 minutes.

When they all came back the the attendance started the pre-flight stuff again. When he finish everything a person came up and said hey I’m on the wrong flight and the flight attendant just looked so shocked and confused since he had never had that happen before. They let the guy off as the attendant looked like he was about to give up.

The attendant had to restart the pre-flight stuff AGAIN. Luckily the plane was working now after two hours waiting on the runway and the flight began.
