I have it on PS4 and I’ve been itching to replay it, but I’ve been (foolishly) waiting on a PC release to replay. At this point, I think I’m just gonna go for it and play on PS4 again, cause I don’t think it’s happening any time soon. lol
Person of considerable jank.

Neat. Looking forward to it. /s
Yep, hard pass. I got all the DLCs I care about for Payday 2 for super cheap in Steam sales, and I’m out. I’ll just be playing that. lol
Oh, only a 7900xtx? lol
Same. I just bought the 2070S like… 3 years ago? 2 or 3. I thought it would let me max out games for closer to 5 years, but here we are. lol
No stability.
Only graphic.
When they made OW2, they replaced OW1 with it. Technically, I think OW2 is just a really big update for OW1. But now there’s no way to play the old version that a lot of us liked better. :(
SAME. OW1 was one of my favorite games. Still mad about it.
I use Moon+ Reader Pro for Android. It’s got a nice presentation, it’s reasonably feature-rich for an eBook reader, and it’s easy to use.
Can’t wait to see how many hundreds of DLC packs roll out for this one. lol
Death Stranding 2 will be the next first strand-type game
You saw an injustice and felt called to speak up, so you took responsibility and stood up for what you believed in. You did so even knowing that it would be uncomfortable and might cost you a friendship. That was really courageous.
It’s normal to feel like shit when you find yourself in a scenario when all the options seem terrible, but your actions show that you have real integrity, and it’s okay to pat yourself on the back for that.
It’s also okay to mourn the friendship, it’s okay to recognize the effect this may have on this person and feel for them, and it’s okay to take time to process your feelings about the whole thing; however, I will caution you to avoid delving into self-deprecating territory. Any consequences that they face for what they did will ultimately be because of their own choices–not yours.
Just to drive it home: you aren’t getting them in trouble. They’re getting in trouble for what they did. What you did was trust your gut and call out something harmful.
Know that everything you’re feeling is totally valid, and please be kind to yourself and try to remember that you did the best thing you could in a difficult situation.
EDIT: I wrote this without knowing the details of what happened, then I read your comment about what happened and I am doubling-down hard on what I said. You def made the right call, you are brave as hell for pursuing that, and the person you reported needed to be stopped. It’s understandable why your friend didn’t press charges (though I personally believe that to be a mistake), but you did right by her and this dude’s future victims. It’s okay if she doesn’t see that, and it’s okay if she’s upset with you–she’s clearly in a very complicated situation right now and her feelings are valid, too–but please know that you absolutely did the right thing.
From what I hear, it’s being tested/reviewed currently, but it’s basically ready and will be available soon.
Sounds like a bug in your browser, or maybe the Android system.
I’ve had one before. They are def not a good enough replacement for AC when you really need it, but they’re not useless, either. They certainly don’t work like AC does, you are right. They can make you feel a little cooler if you’re sitting in front of it. lol
Pro tip: Dowse the pad insert in water and put it in the freezer. You can also put an ice cube or two in the water reserve. Both of these things maximize the “cooling” power, but again, you can’t really expect it to cool a whole room.
Honestly, I think most people don’t know about kbin/know about it’s feature set. I made this post hoping it would help raise some awareness.
Yeah, the search is the main thing that drew me to kbin, but I do also strongly prefer the UI (even if it has a couple of quirks).
What even is that place? I can’t figure it out. lol
When it comes to changing someone’s mind, I believe it helps to first question whether there’s even a need to do so. If there is, then asking questions is vital. You can’t just hit someone with Facts & Logic™ and expect that it will immediately undo something they may have had drilled into them since childhood, or something that requires recognition that would challenge other dearly held beliefs (e.g. “if my dad did a bad thing, then is he not the great, infallible man I thought he was? If he’s a bad person and people tell me I look and act just like him, does that mean I’m a bad person, too?”). Finding out why someone believes what they believe, and taking time to understand it yourself and validate their experience is instrumental in opening up people’s hearts and minds. Or, at least, that’s been my experience and is therefore true to me. 😉
I agree that it is, but I also love that this headline basically reads, “guy who makes thing says the thing he makes is the best thing.”
