2,555 would make the dog exactly 3.5 years old, by the way. Assuming it’s fed twice a day.

As long as you feed them high-quality food, they don’t care. And, I think I know why.
You know how Einstein famously had a closet full of the exact same suit? I’ve been doing that with food for over four years now, I just don’t want to think about it. I also adopted the mantra, “food is not entertainment, food is not reward”. It’s a pretty good diet, no processed food, lots of vegetables, some fruit, organic chicken, olive oil, no sugar, etc.
Anyway, I don’t think about food anymore, I don’t long for something different. I think dogs are probably the same way. They need something to eat, and as long as it’s high enough quality, and meets their needs they don’t care if it’s the same thing every day. It’s not entertainment, and it’s not reward, it’s just food.
Try dry food toppers. Sprinkle a little on and they think it’s something completely different. Haha.
God be praised!

I am so happy you specified “human-grade” dog food, I would be concerned otherwise.
