      It will do a pretty good job of it if it’s an island in the central Pacific Ocean, 300km away from its closest neighbouring country.

      It’s like the joke about outrunning a bear, they just need to run faster than the rest of us. There are only 12k people on Nauru to outlast, and a few years of supplies don’t take up very much space either.
