Very free speech.

If our data didn’t matter, they wouldn’t be harvesting it, never mind making obscene amounts of money with it. If our data didn’t matter, there would not be a multibillion dollar industry based entirely upon it.
YOUR data DOES matter, if it didn’t, why would they go to such lengths to gather it in the first place?

If Taco Bell makes you shit blood, you need medical attention.

I’ve found the laser cut ones with super tiny holes are better than the regular mesh. There’s also micromesh but it’s more delicate.
There are also cloth options that might be better.

No it’s not, because I use a stainless steel capsule and loose leaf tea, which is superior in every way (even if microplastics weren’t an issue).
If you don’t make your tea like this, do yourself a favor and upgrade to some quality loose leaf!
Edit: lol, I love that this is getting downvotes. Are there disposable teabag enthusiasts out there?

Cool, thank you!

Yeah, we’ve got some T-decks and so far it’s only been a novelty and the intended purpose is just so we can text from a decent distance if infrastructure goes down. Will probably also see some occasional use camping as a backup for our radios with a T-beam attached to a bear bag up in a tree as a relay.

I’ve already got some gear and there are a few other nodes around, but basically all it is currently is an emergency backup for texting family members if the Internet and cell service go down. I’d like to start making some cooler stuff like maybe a weather/sensor station and maybe even some online stuff, but I’ve got so many half-done projects I’m hesitant to start another one lol.

long-winded sigh
I really ought to set up that community meshnet I keep thinking about setting up…

That’s the neat part: It doesn’t!

When it becomes a direct mild inconvenience, people will be fed up, maybe.

Seems generous, might be more like 5% reality.

Pour one out for a real OG

AdBlocking is 100% OK, that part is correct for sure. Ad networks (including Google’s) routinely serve up scams and malware: It is foolish not to use a browser with a fully functional ad blocker at this point (i.e. avoid Chrome, use Firefox with uBlock origin).
As for whether Google approves: Fuck Google! They have been serving up malware and scams in their ads. Their opinion should be irrelevant if you have any interest in protecting yourself, they have repeatedly proven they cannot and should not be trusted.

They aren’t: This is 100% state dependent. Some states have extremely permissive laws allowing you to carry anything from a switchblade to a greatsword if you want.
The RAM in demand is DDR5. The price of older RAM might be driven up somewhat because more people are buying older computers due to the price increases, but I doubt buying refurbs just to harvest the RAM would be commercially viable.
