3:29 - 4:35 for The Part
The fact that nobody said immigrant song by Led Zeppelin shows that society is already doomed.
AND THE WINGED HUSSARS ARRIVED!
The Sword - How Heavy This Axe
Maybe more barbarian than knight, but any excuse to share The Sword is one I’ll take.
Interesting that you guys associate guitar solos with feeling like a knight. For me, it’s brass and choirs and such.
Something like this, for example: https://www.jamendo.com/track/1244744/swords-of-fire
The bass trombone sizzling throughout that song apparently got developed in the late 16th century, so technically not even that is anachronistic. 🙃I’ve never thought whether it’s the power chords or the drums. One of my pump up songs is a capella so it can’t be guitars.
I’m doing this for revenge
I’m doing this to try to stay true
I’m doing this for the ones they left to twist in the wind
I’m doing this for you
Visions of Atlantis - Master the Hurricane
Always hits hard when I’m backing out of my driveway at 4am.
Magic Sword is so fucking good! If you ever get the chance, go to one of their live shows, so much fun.

The whole Back to Black is sad, but there is a 2 second guitar riff that makes it extra sad for me, so I do this even if it did hit me the way I expected it to.
This comment section would make a killer playlist.
A minute and 34 seconds into Imperials by Ratatat was always the one for me. There’s a bunch of the ones, but this one came to mind first.
