Like: “LEARN THESE SECRET TRICKS TO ACTUALLY MAKE MONEY”
or some stupid youtube video title or some stupid “secret lifehack” bullshit.
One of the fitness people I follow has two apps and he regularly tells his viewers “You dont NEED my apps to get great results, you dont NEED to watch my videos either. I just think they both help. Now just subscribing as a member is just money for me so you should definitely do that”
Which is a level of influencer honesty I can definitely get behind.
They platform literal convicts and abusers. Set your bar really low so when you’re disappointed it isn’t as much.

Knaw-ledge
Some do apparently or they wouldn’t keep making the videos. Same thing for people who send out phishing emails and other scams. It must work sometimes.
“Spiritual gurus”, “self help gurus”, “crypto gurus”, “business gurus” they tend to be full of shit because if they were as good as they claim they would be making money with their skills and insights instead of making YouTube videos.
Why people fall for it just because someone claims to be an “expert” I will never understand, but I guess you could say the same about many things: advertising, politics, religion etc.
Some do apparently or they wouldn’t keep making the videos
Whole lot of people are desperate to make money. They’ll keep doing it for a while even if it isn’t making money. Multi-level marketing schemes as an example. A few make a ton of money on MLMs, more than 90% lose money. They’re still everywhere
Pretty much everyone uses these clickbait titles regardless of whether they give good advice or not. I briefly followed a “finance guru” who does similar stuff with his thumbnails/titles and he just repeats variations of the same advice in every video: 1. Time in the market beats timing the market, and 2. diversify your investments. So far, this has worked out very well for me for the past ten years, but who knows if it’s going to continue trending upwards.
Yes people actually believe them and it’s embarrassing. They also believe that these rich guys do these seminars out of the kindness of their hearts.
People are always looking to make a easy dollar but pretty much everything except having a job is too good to be true.
Scams exist because enough people fall for them. If there weren’t people falling for it, you wouldn’t see people doing it.
Sadly they do. The best way to make money is just be consistent in what you want to do that makes money.
If you want to make the most money too then above a career is having a business. Building a business next to a job/career is possible even though it will be tough
People do, but I have a hard time believing them. If you have a secret unlimited money glitch, why would you give it away? Or why would you charge any amount of money for it in a course?
Sometimes it can maybe be a clickbaity title to real advice or an educational video, but anyone peddling advice in a course, etc, should be seen as the snake oil salesmen that they are.
The real advice is always available for free on the internet, just have to find that dude that is so compassionate about the real stuff they give it to you straight up.
Yes. I’m apparently a fool for not going along with it.
It’s vigorously supported.
