    I introduced my wife to Funkwhale, and she’s been ripping all of her old CDs from high school.

    Not only did she not label all of the CDs, some of them were mixes from friends that had surprise mystery tracks added in as a joke.

    In one case, she had a ska band cover of a song from Rocky Horror that even Shazam couldn’t identify.

      Or porn, or porn that was a virus.

      Occasionally just got a troll, but mostly innocent incorrectly named thing.

      FightClubFullMovie.wmv that was actually some budget C grade movie no one had ever heard of or seen

    The other day I had an ad on Spotify even though I pay for premium and I felt so offended I’ve been seriously considering this but with a couple SSDs…

    Writing all the songs on the disc is amateur hour. You cant look at them while it’s playing to skip to the right track unless you know the CD perfectly.

    It’s better to write it on the insert, even if it means you have to keep it in the case and not in a CD wallet

      If you buy and keep your CDs in a cake box, then on the disc is the only place to write things.
