Food! Everyone has to eat, unless they are super picky, maybe it could be a small starting point. There are also miscellaneous hobbies/things like board game cafes or something the whole family can do together.

When I was that age though I was kind of an ass, but it was mostly because my opinions/thoughts were trodden over by my parents. So everyone recommending listening/talking/showing interest is 100%.

Problem is you can’t escape what’s been set in motion, only delay it. It’s creeping in everywhere, corrupting it all. Sooner or later we will have to face it collectively and it’s not going to be pretty.

Because they are afraid of the true power their superior flavour holds. It does last a really long time though, idk what people are on about.

The American schooling system is basically formulated to prep you for a 9-5 job by simulating miserable working conditions, general misery, and the ever present threat of violence in some form or fashion.

o: woah. Generally coffee doesn’t wake me up but if I make it too strong my mind just won’t shut down for sleep time. I haven’t had soda in a very long time (outside of some rare occasions). It’s just easier cutting it out.

There is a window where I can drink coffee in the morning and still pretend to sleep at night, and every year it seems about 30m gets shaved off it.

Never wanting to be in pictures or being outside/active for long periods of time. I will eternally look like a goblin and I don’t have the social battery to deal with long excursions of “doing stuff”. It tops out at maybe 2-4 hours depending and after that my brain basically turns to goo.

Oh and also: wearing all black. It just makes dressing myself not a hassle.

Isn’t the main sticking point that they segwayed before the books ran out somewhere before Dorn? and/or they had material supplied to them and basically willfully threw it in the trash?

It’s sad and all he has to go through that, because you know, strokes are bad and all, but why the fuck do we have these ancient people on a platform and in charge of anything. It’s insane.

They literally ban ALL forms of religious depictions in France. Women just get forced, by a religion, to wear specific clothes to adhere to arbitrary standards set by some old dead dude(s). This is super par for the course and makes a lot of sense for them. The only thing oppressive here is the religion that forces women to wear shit to fit some ideals/standards, especially children who don’t know any better and are forced into it/don’t have a concept of doing anything else.

man the dune movie was so interesting sounding and watching it was such a … idk… it was an experience. There was so much stuff that seemed so loosely strung together to the point of feeling almost baffling. I wouldn’t think LoTR or early GoT are comparable?

I got my shots in secret due to needing them, didn’t tell my family (they went full Q) until a recent health crisis had me hopeful admitting to it would get a member to get their shots (they’re hilariously high risk).

It did not work, but they shut up about all of the BS and basically exclude me from it now. So I will say it’s a win; they also shifted goal posts so I’m no longer going to die, be sterile, or autistic from getting shots.
