Did you read the article? Because as far as I can see it fails to actually say shit about the problem. From just this article I can see why people are blaming the author for not having redundancy.
The Arstechnica articles however do actually say what’s going on, so yeah this appears to be a real issue with these drives disconnecting.
They aren’t removing opposing comments. They are removing comments from other instances as it’s a meta post about their instance. Opposing comments from their own instance have not been removed.
If you aren’t on their instance your opinions aren’t relevant and this doesn’t affect you.
Can’t tell but you’re still willing to make assumptions and make up motivations without verifying anything. Is this community just for drumming up drama and targeting other communities?
