Well…it’s actually an hour early…
I’m a citizen and was planing to go to china for work to visit our office there. I have no concerns about China but I have major concerns about coming back to the US from china and being investigated be border “security” about why I was in china. This is insane.
I don’t understand how they expect this to work if they are not also investing in US companies.
Trump wants to dismantle the CHIPs act designed to bring back chip and other manufacturing to the US. Trump wants to reverse the block of US steel to a Japanese company.
I hate this nationalism, but I guess I’d at least expect those espousing it to have a plan to actually bring these industries back to the US so we could make things again. It is going to very difficult to survive when you destroy all your relationships you currently depend on and have zero plan to be self sufficient.
Not to enter into this argument but there are very delicious quiches that are vegan (use a scrambled tofu instead of egg).

My wife and I were doing big renovations on our home and were dealing with lots of contractors. I would email them and include my wife’s email. Yet every contractor failed to press reply all when responding so my wife was constantly left out of the loop
It turns out people just don’t care to think about or understand basic technology.
This stuff really needs to be taught in school (like how we used to have typing and business communication classes)
My spouse and I just use SO (esso) for significant other. I like it more than partner as it is explicitly a romantic or at least very important relationship.

I am happy to hear that people say please and thank you. When Siri/Alexa came out, we taught the kids to always say please and thank you when addressing them. If you can be polite to an AI, then you can be polite to a human.
