George Orwell wrote in 1942, during the war:

With that said conservatism is not fascism, but one enables the other.

I hope it will be manageable. Heavy moderation is very time- and energy consuming and the people behind the instances today are already under big pressure to keep things in order.

In the case that you give as an example or an emergency, sure I agree. But that’s rare. To demand someone getting up and coming to you because you want something undefined is really rude, that’s not normal. I don’t think it’s the same thing at all to tell them what I suggested.

It’s certainly starting to show that some people with views who wasn’t here before are starting to arrive. Like people openly trolling, making racist and confrontational comments. Feels pretty bad, it was such a nice haven here.

How can you reduce the suffering of Ukrainian civilians caused by the Russian invasion and destruction of a neighbouring country to a “US proxy war”? Almost the entire world is on the supporting side. But sometimes people on the internet still decide to twist reality to make it something else.

That the US (and other countries’, of course) military complex are making money from any conflict and that the USA just like Russia also has a bloody imperialist history is NOT relevant when it comes to Russias attack on Ukraine.

Show some respect to victims of war. I suggest you go to your local refugee support center instead of writing these thoughtless comments. If you are in Europe there are plenty of them, I know because I volunteer at one.

Japan being a super racist country will now lead to their old ones rotting away without any care or help, and their social security system falling apart for the rest.

Apart from that a decreasing population is 100% positive for the planet. Especially in the case of such a wasteful and polluting country per capita like Japan.
