Why do you keep the lie?

My husband interviewed in Mississippi about 30 years ago and they set him up with a realtor to show him around. When he asked about schools she told him his kids wouldn’t go to public school and said the two choices were military school or church school. He saw a big black building across the railroad tracks and asked about it. She said, “that’s black wal-mart.” We did not move there!

Probably dishonesty. Coworker threw away thousands of dollars worth of my department’s equipment and then lied to me about it. I know she was just repeating her boss, but she knew it was a lie. I’ll hold a grudge against both of those bitches forever!

Two former friends hit on my husband - not just flirty, pretty seriously with an expectation of more. They’re both out forever!

Those are both positives - you’re resourceful, creative, and recycle. When you like something, you go all in.

Friend/coworker recently told me that i don’t have a ‘game face.’ Now I’m self conscious that everyone knows what I’m really thinking.

I feel like i need to print T-shirts or make an alias username to say, “I’m sorry we suck.”

People who seem reasonable still say there are good people on both sides. I don’t understand that at all! My hairstylist moved here from vietnam as a kid. Last week i made a comment about bezos and he actually said, “both sides…”. I thought my brain was going to pop.

I think they’re wall panels that fit together instead of real taped and bedded drywall. Probably makes it easier to replace if there’s damage. Kind of like using carpet tiles instead of rolled wall-to-wall carpet.

When approaching the checkpoint my friend Dan always says, “ok everyone, try to look white.”

I started writing all of my todo items on my Friday calendar. If i put them on Monday, Tuesday, etc., they just get left in the dust at the end of the day. Now i know to check Friday whenever i have spare time. Whatever doesn’t get done gets moved to next Friday.

Don’t go to the ER. They’ll charge you an outrageous amount. Call your doc and see if you can just schedule a nurse visit. Before you go to urgent care, call them and let them know what you need and ask what they’ll charge. Make sure you don’t go to one that says ER

I do know that she caught him in his car with another woman once when they were dating and she took off her heel and used it to break out his lights. He was a fun guy but not a great husband. She was kind of a badass.
