14·3 months agoThe executive team at my company was in shambles because no one was using the company intranet. So, they demanded that the company intranet be launched when a computer turns on. They were ecstatic that the numbers reached almost 100% in a day, even after being fully explained, and understanding, that the new traffic was, of course, not a real figure. All of the new numbers never went past the home page. Still, they patted themselves on the back, and partied.
So I guess what I’m getting to say is more people either wouldn’t care, or would even celebrate the fake data than one would think.

The bootlickers never cease to amaze me. A McDonald’s employee? Are you fucking kidding me?

In fact, there’s a wealthy municipality here where I live that made rules that houses could only be built by individuals with a very niche paperwork, or something. The details allude me. At it’s core, it was a xenophobic move to block “illegals” from being able to do their work, by “taking care of our own first”.
The issue was there was literally none of “our own”.
What I will remember however, is that no construction was able to happen for almost a whole year. The municipality had to repeal that rule to get construction started again. The ignorance and vast stupidity of the conservatives/regressionists never ceases to amaze me.
That cat made me physically gag.

Very thankful my girlfriend and I got ducks this spring. They’ll be worth their weight in gold shortly enough.
