You want to hear about the absurdity of automod deletions on Reddit? I got a post deleted from illegallifeprotips. For involving revenge or some such nonsense.

All it was, I had discovered an amazing way to stop scam calls, bill collectors, really most anyone from calling you that you don’t want calling you ever again. It works like a dream, and if there is anyone standing next to you it definitely gets a reaction.

The real joke is that they don’t even care about Americans regardless of skin color. Sure, they pander to white America. That’s because there’s a lot of them, and they’re dumb enough to fall for it. But republicans don’t care about you or me. I would also like to add that neither do democrats, but at least democrats aren’t actively trying to kill marginalized people. So, I guess they are the best of a bad situation.

I think I am going to try micro dosing mushrooms again. I really enjoyed that. Like I looked forward to the day I got to take them because all day I just felt happy. The reason I stopped is because I get really bad migraines and that seemed to make them happen more frequently. But I just got a new treatment for that, and it seems to be working. Plus I’ve got some mycelium on petri dishes that are screaming for some moist grain. I’ve just been too apathetic, and I just got this new treatment like last week. So, I’ll give that another go.

You are unfortunately probably correct. I find myself having trouble finding “happiness” in life. So, that makes me seek out pleasure. Which is just a fancy way of saying I’m a hobby whore.

I got into lock picking for a while. It really does feel good to hear and feel those tumblers click. I went about as far as I could without devoting serious time and effort for minimal gains.

Now, I’m fishing. I don’t live in Mississippi, but I do live in Alabama. It’s pretty warm here year round. I try to go fishing at least twice a week. I don’t sport fish. Which means that if a catch a fish too big or too small I let it go. Otherwise I keep and eat it.

Plus it has the added benefit of getting my fat ass out the house. There are several water ways close by. I just put all my stuff in a backpack. Grab a machete. Hike through the woods to a spot where no one can find me, and fish. It’s awesome.

That’s some good info I didn’t see elsewhere. Man this is way more complicated than I expected.

Funny story about me and weed, or would it be weed and I? Anyway, I started smoking weed when I was 12. Since then I have done every drug that has been available to me. I enjoyed most of them. The only one that got me was heroin.

So, after over a decade of heroin abuse. Then around 5 years of methadone. I finally got off the methadone, and I find that I can’t get fucked ip any more. But not because of what your probably thinking.

I got off opiates. I smoked some weed. It makes me paranoid. I drank some beer I kinda got drunk, but mainly it just made me feel like shit. I hate stimulants. So things like coke or crack or meth are a no go. I even grew my own mushrooms, but they gave me a headache. I’m not going back to opiates.

I’m involuntarily sober and it fucken sucks. I’m an insob. Hehehe

So, as a southern American. It is true I do love guns. I am also indifferent about my daily life and death struggles. However, if at all possible. I would like to die as painlessly as possible. Maybe even in my sleep.

I’ll admit that it’s slightly more involved than we thought it would be. My partner was of the opinion that the all knowing coast guard would swarm your boat as soon as you hit American waters. I figured it was more likely that if they see you they just come talk to you, but of course the answer is an app.

Heh Sometimes when I’m feeling a certain way I pull that out and listen to it. I can honestly say that not many things really hit me hard. But that always does.

Thank you for responding. I agree with a lot of what you said. The parts I don’t agree with mainly have to do with a lack of faith in in the US government to do what’s right. In other words. I think they will start charging for vaccines when they decide the losses will be acceptable. Which will probably be long before it’s on par with the flu.

But, I’d just like to point out that with socialized medicine. We wouldn’t even be having this conversation.

Also, you didn’t have to answer your question about are they less effective if less people get them. I had already stated that. When I was saying that if people have to pay for them then less people get them making them less effective.

I am not trying to be antagonistic. I genuinely want to know, and you’re the only person that has responded to me.

Why is it that when I point out that eventually we are going to be paying for these vaccines no one responds anymore?

The cheapest flu vaccine I could find was $40. Flu vaccines have been around for decades. Plus when I asked the pharmacist how much a flu vaccine costs. He said “if you don’t have insurance we can probably get it down to about $40”.

I’m not going to be able to afford 4 $100 corona vaccines for my family.

Why would I be wanting socialized healthcare (see first comment)? Then be concerned about what the government spends on developing a new vaccine.

What? When I said how much it will cost the American people. I meant individually. How much will it cost ME to get the new vaccine? I can’t afford a tooth filling, and if you think corona vaccines will be free forever. You are sorely mistaken.
