That really depends on the political views. If someone’s belief is that certain groups do not deserve to exist/live, or at least doesn’t care enough about those views of the party they voted for, that is absolutely reason enough to cut them out of your life.
Also, for those interested in more mature movies: Juror #2. I had good expectations and was not disappointed. At least, not by the movie. There were only a handful of people in an already small cinema room, only a week after release. Meanwhile, Gladiator II is drawing a lot of public.
While I love shitting on CEOs and business people as much as the next left-oriented person, this trend in the movie industry is very much, at least partially, at fault due to many of the consumers.

The movie 1917. I watched it going in blind. I knew it was praised by many, but then again, so are many other war movies. Now it’s my favourite movie. I cannot help but cry at the scene in the basement, even thinking about it gives me goosebumps.
I had to scroll wayyyyy too far to find it. I absolutely love the soundtrack! And Baldur’s Gate 3’s music is also great so far. Not surprising as it’s from the same artist(s) XD

My first time at what is more or less a Renaissance Fair. There were several knives and swords on display. I thought they were plastic. Found out the hard way they were not.
I should add that this is in a country with gun control, i.e. weapons for sale is very much out of the order. I really was not expecting them to sell actual daggers!
What Remains of Edith Finch comes to mind for me.
In the game, you play Edith Finch going back to her family home. It was home to multiple generations of the Finch family. This family has a serious case of bad luck, and most of them didn’t get very old. As Edith, you explore all of the rooms and see the final moments of the person who used to live there.
It is not a horror game - but it is haunting, in a sense. If you enjoy good stories and writing, give it a try. It’s only about 2 hours, and best played in a single sitting. It’s also on sale regularly.
