I think you might be misinterpreting the statement, or I’m misinterpreting what you’re saying.

They are saying she isn’t worth thinking about to just cut a check to the family and tell them to fuck off. I’m paraphrasing, obviously. That tracks pretty well really.
for starters people around here tend to misinterpret what you’re saying accidentally or willfully, far more than my experience with reddit previously.
Honestly, this is what has driven me away. No matter how innocuous something I say is, there are a bunch of “well, askshewly” asshats to argue an irrelevant part of your statement, or start the “whataboutism” shit. It’s exhausting, and frankly, takes all the fun out of it.

I would tend to agree, and in the case of places that are strictly amusements parks, I totally agree. However, there are very good organizations out there, that are helping animals that can’t live in the wild, because of injury, being some assholes “pet” until it became too much to deal with, or saving species from asshole humans killing them to near extinction levels. Unfortunately, that means those animals have to live in captivity. It’s not just a simple ban all captive animals thing.

I get what you’re saying, but this isn’t some new tech, or something invented in the last few years. This is a production and QC problem, which Nissan has had MANY of.
In my experience, not only do they think THEY are not required to say please/thank you, or be generally polite humans, they EXPECT everyone to cow-tow to them. I don’t think it’s blanket true, but it’s been my experience with my parents and their contemporaries.

The comment about coming to the kitchen to say hi is important context. I’m inclined to agree with you, that she isn’t just being nice, with that info.

I’m going to go along with most of the other replies. If she’s at work, she’s being nice because that’s her job. I’ve had many men take that the wrong way, and it’s uncomfortable. Like dude, I HAVE to be nice to you. I don’t necessarily WANT to.
If you run into her in the wild, or she comes into your work, I think that’s ok, BUT be prepared to never go back to her work again. Especially if she says no.
If she’s with a bunch of her friends, I’d say to not ask them either, unless you can do it very quietly. Someone else mentioned slipping her your number, and letting it be from there. I’d say that’s probably a good plan of attack. Definitely don’t just walk up to a table with her and her friends and ask her out in front of everyone though.
I have to itemize every invoice, for ever customer. Sometimes 100+ items long, and it’s rarely the same, customer to customer. I’m pretty sure they can figure out how to do it too.
