    I had a younger guy at my job ask me if I was mad at him once because I used punctuation in a Teams message. Nah, bro, I’m just in my 40s.

      Curious if you’re a millennial. I never used to use lol, then everyone I texted was using it and I felt like if I didn’t I was coming across as too serious and not friendly so I started using it, then people started to make fun of everyone who used it and say it was a millennial thing and now I’m so self conscious every single time I use it but I can’t stop

        It’s definitely a millennial thing! I embrace it now because fuck it, I’m old it’s fine haha. Younger people are going to find me cringe no matter what lol

      I never really used “lol” and even when I sometimes want to, it just feels weird so I end up not to.

      I’m still the same, just with smiley faces :) used to practically use them as periods at the end of a sentence :D

    Funny, because this is what I think when someone says lol. Just a blank, expressionless face whenever I send someone something funny. That, and lmao or rofl. I highly doubt anyone has ever resorted to rolling on the floor from laughing so hard at something sent in a text.
