And while I’m at it, can I have a car that isn’t just spyware disguised as a fancy iPad?
I do use Linux at home, but work forces me to use Windows.
I use cloud storage.
At my company computer, I drop my backups to cloud if I forget my portable drive at home. At my home computer I pull those from cloud and store them on my home server.
That’s about as far as I trust cloud storage.
I’m forced to use a Windows laptop for some proprietary software at uni. Since it’s IT-issued, it’s connected to my uni account. This means that it took me a month before I realised my desktop wasn’t in fact my desktop, and just my one drive desktop, with no files actually being saved onto the laptop
So anyway that’s why I have a shotcut to my desktop on my “desktop”, as it’s the fastest way to get there
Everytime I have the displeasure a logging into Windows I am hit with ads. If it isn’t Microsoft trying to get me to log into my account or getting me to setup my PC for the tenth time it is adobe or some other software installed pushing notifications. It is fucking bonkers now.
it’s my turn to post this
I keep posting it on Teams at work, it’s fun to be the old guy.
OneDrive to rule them all
Why does Randall come to mind? Three movies of people walking to a volcano.
You will own nothing and better be happy, or else!
No OneDrive on Linux 🤷
