Got complimented out of the blue about a somewhat beard-shaped stubble that I was growing out by a female friend, and my brother’s girlfriend has practically forbidden him from clean shaving. My dad had a beard when he met my mom. Maybe it’s our genes, but I think there are faces where a beard works and faces where it doesn’t. Same as with hair styles, some guys can have a mullet and still look decent.
