There’s just too much money tied to sponsorships that depend on Argentinian stars, so FIFA will do everything in their power to keep the money flowing, even if that means tolerating a team that undermines sportsmanship and integrity. FIFA went through a corruption crisis in 2015 and learned absolutely nothing.
Everyone has always hated Argentina, and kind of argentinians (not based on racist motives, they are just incredible ass holes and sore losers). When I recently saw Swiss people hating on them, that was the last straw.
