Why do you need to rev it early in the morning for 5 minutes waking up the neighborhood?

That makes sense on freeways/ large roads, but I even hear it in parking lots, or when they’re idiling. If a bicycle can safely ride there, then a motorcycle doesn’t need to rev.

Wait. There seems to be no correlation between loudness motorcycles and safety according to, like, every car site. I think I’ve just been told that so often that I believed it. Seemed like it made sense, but doesn’t show that it helps. This is what I am referring to If that’s the case fuck em. Loud assholes.

      I feel jilted.

Loudness barely helps emergency vehicles. When you’re moving at speed, even with an incredibly loud mechanical siren you’d be surprised how close you have to be before you can hear it
