      They’re not, and it’s not new (it even says this in the article). They’re the last to report it, its news bait because it’s a hot topic. Now everyones clicked and they got their ad dollars.

    China already set the bar on this one and America had already started testing it out. Regardless this is disgusting. The world does not need everyone to have a “social credit score”.

    Very inefficient when they can just ask FBI, NSA, or any of their counterparts in other countries about people online records. Or they can just arrest high profile person like telegram founder to give access to the logs.

    It’s getting worse than North Korea! But I guess they just used that as inspiration along with Taliban and Putin
