When I was 16 I could get 4 or 5 people to come over to my house on a week night with almost zero advanced notice. I am now 30 and

I don’t know 4 or 5 people
-
It would take 3-4 weeks to get everyone’s schedule to line up
-
Half of everyone would cancel because they didn’t feel like going out

Maybe it’s not everyone, but at 37 I feel much less interested in socializing in the first place.

we can LAN if we want to
we can leave your friends behind
cause your friends dont LAN
and if they dont LAN
well they’re no friends of mine
Well they’re no clan of mine.
Everybody look at their hands.
I prefer red bull. Drinking isn’t conducive to all night gaming.
You start the night with a vodka redbull (or a Cosmo with redbull is my preference) and go from there. That’ll keep ya going 😘
You start the night with a vodka redbull
No happy memory ever starts with a vodka redbull
We lead very different lives, my friend. Coffee amaretto might be more your speed?
Whiskey & coke back when I was in college. Now it’s just beer. It was mostly a joke about vodka red bulls being what we drank when we were trying to get drunker than we’ve ever been.
Ahhh see I’ve just made different associations. Vodka redbull is my go-to first drink and sometimes only drink when I’m going out dancing from midnight to dawn. I used to be able to do that without any stimulants, but in my mid thirties I need a little boost to help get me going before the dance endorphins kick in.
Oooh, that sounds delicious! Amaretto is like the only alcohol i actually like.
I keep some decaf coffee around just to occasionally make coffee amaretto after a rich meal. It’s really quite a good after dinner drink! Booze aside, the flavors just pair very well. You can try other nut liqueurs, too.
No love for Bawls? When I was younger the best LAN parties had Bawls. I think they still make it; no idea if it tastes the same.
Right, only get the pizza thats actually good and not a fake Instagram hype
in college, I was renting a house with 3 roommates who were all gamers. We used to host a LAN party every month or so. Our record was 30 people in the house playing at the same time.
I miss those days
Discord + online games means it still kind of happens
LAN and discord are entirely different vibes
Yeah, someone needs to invent a BO protocol.
Body Odor Over Internet Protocol, or BOOIP.
We can afford to buy massive PCs that will die of boredom as we play Minecraft. And if we can’t we sure as hell can afford a loan.
If I get drunk I get extra sleepy. Unless I get really drunk, then I get insomnia despite feeling sleepy as fuck
I’d rather sleep ay night
I bought 2 Xbox 360, can do 4 players halo lan party with friends now
